We hosted our first event

We had a good turnout in spite of the cloudy weather. Mrs. Shaheed's sister, Betty Haynes-Richardson, gave the introduction and then we had a Q&A session where attendees could ask her questions. We also had some fish plates available for everyone to grab and eat while they were there.

I've supported clients before with different aspects of the event planning process but never handled everything myself (unless we're counting birthday parties). This was a wonderful learning experience and hopefully the start of something new. I'm looking forward to planning the next event and making this an ongoing service offering.

On Saturday, September 23, 2023, How May I Assist in collaboration with NSN LLC hosted its first event. This event was the first of many that we'd like to do to promote our clients, bring together the community, and have a good time. The event, which took place in Moncks Corner, SC was a book signing titled, Meet & Eat. It was a chance for our client, Saleemah Shaheed, to engage with the community of Cordesville, the community where she was raised. We felt this was the perfect place for the first book signing because she's from there and her book, Maze Stories, tells stories surrounding her life growing up there.
